This app is essential for keeping track of my logbook. The reports are awesome. Highly recommended.

This is a great app. Syncing on devices needs work. Very robust, and capable for any type of pilot.

Great App. So many options to make entries into the log book and keep track of you flight time. Perfect tool for the Private Pilot or Airline Captain and every other pilot in between.

I was so excited for nc software to finally complete their logbook pro iPhone app only to find out there is a yearly cloud access fee for life for each device?? I am so shocked and disappointed. Is it true that I cannot use my iPhone data cable or wifi to sync my data from the logbook pro pc software? If this is not corrected soon then they will have lost another longtime customer. What a huge disappointment.

Under NO circumstance should you even CONSIDER buying this program. I dont normally write reviews but I do not want someone else to have to go through what I did. First off, I am very proficient with computers, especially MS Excel type spreadsheet programs. I was looking for something to digitize my flight time and be able to see flight totals for Part 135 and Part 121 times, etc. I bought this because I have a Windows based desktop and thought that would be the best way to enter data. This program is nothing more than a bulked up version of MS Excel that hasn’t been updated in YEARS. The way you have to enter your aircraft is very cumbersome. I tried for hours to successfully import data into Logbook Pro only to have something be slightly off then have to restart the entire process, including reentering all my aircraft types. Not in the least bit user friendly and their help video’s are in a completely different version that is years older and doesn’t even resemble the current version, so not much help there at all. The biggest reason I wouldn’t allow my worst enemy to get this program is because the company offers NO PHONE SUPPORT OF ANY KIND! Only a company of cowards would hide behind email and a chat interface that is NEVER manned. Less than 10 mins on the phone would have been sufficient to answer my simple questions and get things fixed but you have to write email after email trying to get the simplest questions answered. After wasting MANY hours writing emails over several days trying to get some basic configurations set I am giving up. I have an iPad, iPhone and am getting a MacPro laptop for the road so I am going to purchase LogTen Pro which several of my friends use with absolutely no issues at all. I should have went with LogTen from the start but I liked the idea of being able to sit down in front of my desktop and data entering things, that plan didn’t work out. Even if you don’t have a Mac product Microsoft Excel with do everything Logbook Pro does so DO NOT WAIST YOUR MONEY OR TIME buying this out of date software with no phone support and delayed and marginal email support. I asked my friends if LogTen Pro had good tech support, their answers were all the same, they have never needed to contact then as the interface is so easy to use. I am in the process of getting a refund for this joke of software/app. I think 10 years ago LogBook Pro might have been cutting edge but in 2015 it should be considered an out of date relic with absolutely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE at all. I hope you can appreciate how much time and frustration I just saved you!

Its everything you could ask for in a logbook program.

Flying since 1981. Love log book pro. Just wish I knew it better. Need to watch the how to videos so I get better at it. Great program. Like the mobile app as well.

I bought this being told I would only be charged with the Sync function via cloud after I bought the desktop version. I was told it was good for life. That is true if you only enter data on one computer. If you enter onto your ipad or iphone then try to sync via a cable it will not let you unless you pay the annual fee. I am trying to get out of using this scam app. The old bait and switch type tactic. The IT is also terrible, as if you use more than one computer it wont sync them both and it made me relog in numerous times after I had purchased. DO NOT BUY!!!

Gentlemen, Keep up the great work, this app just keeps getting better and better. I am just amazed how easy you have made it for and old guy like me. I installed the app and had it up and running in just a few minutes. I am also amazed how fast the sync is, of course I am still amazed how fast texting works too. Keep up the good work. I am looking forward to version 7 of APDL. Hopefully I get picked as a beta tester. I love how well your products are integrated and work together. The schedule importer is so convenient for me. I also love the new sky view and wx features. Good job!!! A+++ in my book

This is one of those apps you wonder how you lived without. Each update makes it better, often fixing things you didnt even realize needed fixing! Customer support is about the best I know, and their frequent newsletters are great. If you fly, you need this app. Plain and simple! John, N182MM

What a disappointment. Latest update changed all my unsynced entry dates to 1/1/0001. Lost data on flights. This update is buggy to say the least. But hey! At least you get to pay an overpriced subscription. For that kind of money, I expect fully functional technology. Im through with this junk. Delete.

Overall this app works well providing you have the companion desktop app. However, it is missing some simple cloud sync tech. Individual flight data does not sync across devices. Only logbook statistics sync across devices.

I like the app well enough, but Im not a fan of the subscription costs. I loved using it when it was a one time purchase (a long time ago). When they started requiring an annual subscription fee I hesitated but paid the $20 anyway. Now thats its $30/yr I hesitate even more to purchase the subscription. As a corporate pilot and freelance CFI I find the app useful, but not useful enough to justify the cloud sync subscription fee. I just load my flights into the app when Im on the go and the "manually sync" them up when I get back to my laptop.

This was a good program and app... until NC Software started charging another $30 per year to use it. And their seems to be more that a few reviews created by NC Software touting what a great product they think it is.

In order to use the app you MUST have the desktop software (which is paid). Ridiculous. This needs to be explicitly stated in the description. Very deceiving.

Have used this for several years now and it is the best by far. Very convenient.

Greatly cuts down my time figuring out numbers for insurance and company time sheets

I have used Logbook Pro for several years and have been very pleased. I use it on my IPhone, IPad , and my PC. The Sync works great. I have never had a single issue with the app or program.

Since last update, It doesnt sync the local times in flica. it only has option for UTC or device local. this screws up my update. Also it does not sync aircraft Ident as well.
